If you haven’t seen this little game, you’ve been missing out on some seriously creative but simplistic game design that’s actually pretty fun to spend some time playing with. It’s called Line Rider. Quickie Games

I’ve enjoyed developing quick little games in the past–where “quick” means isolating yourself from the world for a weekend or so and just pound out some code and deliver on a “little” game of some sorts. The reality is I’ve tried this about four times so far where I was at least somewhat successful but I’ve “planned” on doing it far more than that. I just ran across this site though that’s dedicated to this type of game development and these guys have plenty of games up and available for download. Of course, some aren’t all that great but a few are at least interesting and unique. If you’re into this sort of thing, check their site out: Experimental Gameplay Project.

WoW Realm Stats & Timezones

I was trying to figure out what World of Warcraft servers (aka realms) were on Pacific time and which were Eastern. This turned out to be much harder for me than I thought it would given how much content exists on this web about this “game.” The site also has plenty of other statistics as well. Marble Blast Ultra

It’s been a while since I played a game that reminds me of some of the old school games where you had to develop some real skills for the game to make progress. Marble Blast Ultra is really fun, frustrating, and addictive. Highly recommended if you like a simple yet challenging game.

Just happened upon an article about the upcoming video game based on one of my favorite shows, 24. Here’s another article on it as well. Sadly, it looks like it’s a PS2 only game though I’ll for sure get it if it ever comes out for the Xbox 360.
