Wildcards in Word

This is mostly a note to self, but may be useful to others trying to figure out or remember how to search for end of lines in Word and replace with a character.

The case I almost always need to do this is taking a long list of people’s email addresses in some sort of list and converting it into text I can paste into the TO line of an email.

The trick is to search for a carriage return (CR) which isn’t one of the options Word provides in the list of presets. The text to search for is ^13. For my scenario, replacing those with semicolons works perfectly.
