icon corral STILL works in today’s day and age.
truly a great program.

works on win7/64,vista, xp,etc

“icon corral” this fails on my win 2k SP4. I mention it here, as a helpful comment to other people googling “icon corral”. Some posters hint this works in XP has anyone found it works? (Sounds like Vista means no icon corral)

Hmm, I’m trying to find out how to pay for IconCorral, lots of sites tell me its $5 shareware, but I can’t seem to find where to pay. Any hints Eric?

Well, I’ve been using this tool at work for ages, thanks Eric! I just upgraded to Vista, and found I still need Icon Corral. I’ve made a note to remember to pay you after all these years of good service.

Totally agree, very happy to use this old utility again in XP, did not try it in vista but I’ll never install vista :-) I use it for a lot of applications, and when I must install old outlook or other application at customer’s office.

It would be nice if Eric would GPL the source and put it on Sourceforge. Then others could maintain the code and enhance it.

Hehe… no I didn’t know people still used it, I’m surprised it runs, as I haven’t compiled it since 1996 :)
