I’ve seen photos of some of these chalk drawings before but I just ran across another one that actually led me to who makes these. His name is Julian Beever and he is absolutely amazing. Check out this Flickr link to a bunch of photos of his pieces.

They really are pretty amazing and I would love to see one in person or even a photo of one from a “wrong” angle. His drawings are done in a way that when looked at from the correct angle look three-dimensional–as if they’re coming out of or into the pavement.
