Meg was messing with the home page on her phone and we ended up coming with a layout we liked so I’m sharing them in case anyone wants to use them. They’re simple and don’t set a color scheme or background image (you can find good ones on a bunch of other sites) but the layout works well. Click on the images below to view (or download) the corresponding xml for each of them.

If you want to use these all you need to do is copy them over (make sure you keep the whatevernameyouwant.home.xml filename extension) to the “\Storage\Application Data\Home” folder on your smartphone via ActiveSync’s “Explore” option. Then, on your smartphone, go to “Start->Settings->Home Screen->Home screen layout” and select either of the two xml files you just uploaded. Hit the home button and you should see the home screen using the new layout.
